I Believe with Dr. Graham Walker, Jr.

JCBC will host respected theologian, Dr. Graham Walker, Jr. for a new Wednesday night Midstream Series entitled “I Believe.” For three weeks, Dr. Walker will lead us in an exploration of the beliefs that give rise to our various theological worlds. This series will be held Wednesday, April 13th, 20th, and 27th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room.

April 13th: “I Believe!”
April 20th: “I Believe in God!”
April 27th: “I Believe In Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Our Lord!”

Graham-Walker[web]Graham B. Walker, Jr. is Associate Dean for the Doctor of Ministry Degree Program and John and Judy Zellars Professor of Theology at Mercer’s McAfee School of Theology, in Atlanta.

Dr. Walker came to McAfee School of Theology from the Asia Baptist Graduate Theological Seminary in Baguio City, Philippines, where he served as Academic Dean. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the Florida State University and his master of divinity and doctor of philosophy degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Dr. Walker previously served as Professor of Theology and Asian Cultural Studies at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also served as visiting Professor of Religion at Samford University in Alabama, as Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at St. Catherine’s College in Bardstown, KY, as well as Instructor of World Religions at Simmons Bible College in Louisville, KY. He has published numerous articles in various religious journals and has authored Elie Wiesel: A Challenge to Theology.
