On Sunday, July 19th the members of Johns Creek Baptist church voted unanimously to call Reverend Cass Brannan to serve as Children’s Pastor. Pastor Cass brings with him the vision and passion needed to lead our ministry with children to its new and next level of excellence. We celebrate this new day dawning, and give thanks to God for the adventure that lies ahead.
In addition to calling a new member to our ministry team, JCBC welcomes a new family to our congregation. Cass and Mary Beth will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary in September. They and their four sons (Caden, Calder, Bates, and Briggs) will welcome the 7th member of the Brannan clan with the birth of Baylor in mid August.
August will be a month of transition for the Brannans, as they depart one ministry, welcome a new life to their home, and begin a new ministry, all within one month’s time. Of these transitions, obviously the most significant one is the birth of their son. We, as a church, want to honor that sacred rhythm of newness and life, by praying for the Brannans during these vital first few weeks of adjustment.
Pastor Cass will spend the end of August getting organized and oriented to JCBC, with his first Sunday with us being September 6th. In the meantime, you and your family may wish to send a card or word of welcome to…
