Victoria Bethel is a rising senior at the University of Georgia where she is majoring in trumpet performance under the guidance of Mr. Philip Smith, who served as principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic from 19782014.
In addition to being a member of student ensembles at UGA, Victoria performs regularly with the Symphony Orchestra of Augusta and the Atlanta Trumpet Ensemble. As a soloist, she earned first place in the High School Division of the National Trumpet Competition in 2013. Upon graduation, Victoria hopes to pursue both a career as a performer and as a musical missionary.
