No Longer Bound Dinner
No Longer Bound is a long-term, residential, faith-based program for men in addiction. They currently have about 50 men in the program. They come to JCBC every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month for dinner. JCBC has been doing this for almost 20 years.
Sunday School classes and other groups in the Church (Choir / Deacon / etc.) sponsor the meals in turn, but we have openings for 2026.
We feed them a meal and desserts (many like to make homemade desserts), sit with them, have conversation, get to know them, and just love on them for an evening and hopefully make them feel worthy, cared for, and prayed for.
Usually – there are about 60 people to feed who ever in your group comes to hang out with the guys. The church reimburses each group $350 for the meal. $350 dollars doesn’t cover the entire meal. BUT, we have been doing it for a long time and have the experience to help you plan with catering options that can cover a good chunk of the meal or help you plan the meal in different ways. Those options and details can be worked out once a date is selected for your group.
