How to (Really) Not Sweat the Small Stuff

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus addressed the key issues related to living rightly before God and people. The "greater righteousness than the Pharisees" teachings will be timely I think. It will be a serious call away from the austere and into the sincere. The SOM addresses basic, foundational issues regarding getting one's life centered, grounded, focused with the God who "sees in secret." Much of this series will be focused on cultivating the "inward life" that Jesus says is necessary in order for the "outward life" to have integrity before God and others.

It is in those ordinary moments where Jesus teaches, our Kingdom character is revealed. For Jesus, faithfully living in the kingdom is not just about adjusting our outward behaviors. It is about experiencing an inward transformation so real and so significant that our outside life reveals it! Join us for this verse by verse study through the Sermon on the Mount.
