We are Connected for Community
We were never intended to do life all alone, but rather in the love and company of God and each other.
Palm Sunday is the day we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem during the last week of his life on earth as recorded by all four gospels. Our choir and grade school children will be waving palm branches as we usher in Holy Week and we will continue to have Preschool Worship (Birth-PreK) as well as Children’s Worship (K-2nd grade) as usual.
As we come to the end of the Lenten season, join us as we reflect on the impact of Christ’s death and await the celebration of the coming Resurrection. Tenebrae, an evening of darkness and shadows, is a unique worship service that allows us to journey to the cross through song, scripture and quiet meditation.
Childcare for Birth-PreK is available by reservation only by emailing rpriddy@jcbc.org.
The stone was rolled away, and Jesus defeated the grave. Resurrection! The hope of all humankind is celebrated on Easter Sunday morning – the highest of Holy days. Identical services will be held at 9:00 and 11:00 in the Sanctuary and will feature our choir and orchestra as well as a message of life and hope from Sr. Pastor Shaun King.
Preschool and Special Needs Worship will be available for our 11am worship service, only. Children in our 9am worship service are invited to join their families for a time of family worship in the sanctuary.
