We are Connected for Community
We were never intended to do life all alone, but rather in the love and company of God and each other.
To be with Jesus, to become like Jesus, to do what Jesus did.
This statement is what we are about at JCBC.
This is spiritual formation. As we join in the journey, we believe the outcome is an abundant life—one that is filled with joy, meaning, and purpose. That’s what we hope for you.
We join in the journey through the spiritual practices. Some examples you might be familiar with are prayer, scripture, service, and community. A foundational component of the practices happens through our Sunday Morning Bible Study which offers the study of scripture, community, and service.
Our Bible Study communities typically form around similar ages and stages of life. Every 8 weeks, a Seminar Leader (teacher) transitions to a new community to teach a particular topic. This rotational model allows for greater depth and expertise among our seminar leaders. Community Leaders guide their groups in pastoral care, as well as ways to build relationships and serve our church and community. Bible Study meets every Sunday at 9:30AM. You can find a list of our communities and the current teaching topic through the link below.
