Prayer Requests

Prayer Request from Roger Simpson: Charles Adams Update – November 15, 2018:
Charles continues to carry the title of Miracle Man bestowed on him by the oncology team at Emory Hospital. On November 1st he experienced some difficulties and was transported to Emory Johns Creek Hospital. It was discovered he had a bacterial infection and was given antibiotics for the condition. On Monday, November 5th he was transferred to Saint Joseph’s Hospital where he received previous gamma knife radiation on his brain. They ran a new MRI and determined that the swelling on the right side of his brain had decreased in size. It apparently was due to previous radiation treatments. There is a small spot on his brain but there are no plans for surgery or for additional gamma knife radiation at this time. After a few days in the hospital, the doctors and physical therapists determined that it would be best if he could receive additional therapy as provided in a rehab facility. The plan is to assist him in regaining strength and mobility.

On Wednesday, November 14th he was transferred to a rehab facility in Brookhaven. He is at Pruitt Health – Brookhaven, 3535 Ashton Woods Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.

If you wish to send cards or notes, I suggest you continue sending them to the home address: 535 Kings Peak Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30022.

Please continue to keep Charles, Rose, daughter Michelle and son Jeffrey in your prayers. They continue to express their thanks for your caring support. Charles and Rose Adams: 535 Kings Peak Drive, Alpharetta, Georgia 30022.

Prayer Request from David Hyde: Please pray for my brother, Jim Hyde, of Lexington, KY. Jim has suffered another heart attack and is in ICU. He is receiving his dialysis treatments there as well as treatment for the heart attack. Wanda and I had planned to leave Thursday morning to be with him and his wife, Margaret, but his daughter is going that day so we are waiting until she reports back to us. The doctors haven’t been encouraging about his condition. Your prayers are appreciated. Jim Hyde, 2622 Flying Ebony Drive, Lexington, Kentucky 40509.
