Prayer Request from David White: I am sadden to report that Pete Brown passed away yesterday (11/8). Pete died peacefully at his home with Barbara at his side. The family will receive friends at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, November 10 from 5:00 – 8:00. A service celebrating Pete’s life will be held at Johns Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 AM. Memorial flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to Johns Creek Baptist Church. Please pray for Barbara and her family during this time. Margaret Eller is asking for prayer in the passing of her sister-in-law, Jane Callahan of Franklin, NC. Jane was the last remaining sibling of eight of Margaret’s late husband’s family. The funeral service will be tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1st at 2:00pm, with visitation at 1:00pm at Macon’s Funeral Home in Franklin, NC. Margaret and her daughter will be driving to the funeral services early tomorrow morning. Margaret would like our prayers for the family and for their safe travel. A memorial service honoring the life of Frances Gober will be held on Saturday, November 4th at Johns Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 in the Chapel Rotunda with the service to follow at 2:00 in the JCBC Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter. Please remember Frances’ daughters, Denise and Charlene, her grandson Will and their families during these days. Prayer Request From Carol Roberts: My first cousin Loyd has cancer but treatments are put on hold as he battles pneumonia. While the pneumonia is getting better, the fluids needed to finish fighting off that infection cause water build up requiring yet another medication to remove fluids. Loyd is very discouraged and prayers are needed first and foremost for an upgrade in his enthusiasm. He is a Christian so his soul is secure. The family is praying for a rebound. Loyd is 68 years old.

Pete Brown is home from his recent hospital stay. Due to the side effects he has experienced, chemotherapy is no longer an option. He is resting and will be receiving in-home hospice care. Please continue to pray for Pete and Barbara and their family. Emails and texts are welcomed and very much appreciated, but for the next 4 –5 days the family requests no visitors as they are getting everything in place with the nurses and care team.
