THRIVE

We are going to be kicking off THRIVE this Sunday during the 11:00 hour for our elementary aged children. One of the greatest things that we can do and offer for our children is to give them a place to experience and encounter their heavenly Father in a way that they can understand.

Thrive is a word that pushes us to move forward. Thrive is a word that understands that there is a process of growing and developing. And so as we create an environment for our children to THRIVE, we want them to….

THRIVE to be connected to other adults and children. We are working to create a place where children can sit together and not only be connected to each other, but to an adult that will show up in their life on a consistent basis, with the goal of connecting them to their heavenly Father.

THRIVE to have a growing relationship with Jesus. The only thing that will matter in the end is each of the children’s relationship with Jesus. We want them to experience the truth, the love, and grace of Jesus like never before, and to allow Jesus to form who they are, and were created to be.

THRIVE to do something significant in this world and for the kingdom of God. We want to mobilize children to be kids who make a difference in their schools, on the field, in their activities and in their homes. We want them to know that they are able and capable of doing something awesome and significant, and we want to create opportunities for them to do that.

THRIVE to be worshippers of God and grow deeper in love with Him. We are creating a space where children will be able to sing, laugh, dance, play, and hear God’s Word like never before, and in a way that teaches them to apply Jesus to their lives.

I am incredibly excited about this environment for our children. I am excited to see what God is going to do in and through the lives of these children and the leaders that will invest in them.

We are still looking for 15-20 leaders that will step up at 11:00 to invest in the lives of these children on a consistent basis. If you are interested in being a small group leader, helping to lead worship, or being a storyteller, please reach out to me, cbrannan@jcbc.org and let me know. YOU ARE INVITED to be a part of something life-changing.

I can’t wait to see the children who are a part of Johns Creek Kids THRIVE.
