5 Reasons NOT to Miss the JCBC Mobilization Fair

We are now only 11 days away from the JCBC Mobilization Fair 2014.
Have you made plans to attend?
Need some reasons?
Here are 5.

1.Your New and Next step in Christ could be just down the hallway.
Our booths are organized in a way to empower your own personal journey through iMAGINEXT. Whether you are being drawn to take new steps in loving God, loving people, or both, there are numerous opportunities for you to move beyond where you are, to where Christ is bidding you to come. If you have not yet taken the iMAGINEXT Assessment, simply click here, to begin the journey.

2. It’s a River with 74 Plunge Points.
If the Mission of God is understood as a teeming, flowing, surging river of God’s love, there are no less than 74 opportunities for you to jump/dive/plunge headlong into the flow. Did you catch that? 74. Some of which are ways to love God more deeply through personal devotion and spiritual growth. Many of which are ways to serve others through ministry and mission. With 74 opportunities, the odds are likely you will joyfully discover a place that is drawing you to make a splash! You can get a sneak peak of many of the opportunities Love God and Love people, by clicking here.

3. Spaghetti!
No need to rush off for lunch. Our Youth Ministry will be providing a delicious Spaghetti Luncheon as a fundraiser for their upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Tickets are by donation (Suggested minimum: $10/adult; $5/child), and must be purchased no later than THIS Sunday, February 23rd. Click here for more details.

4. The Schedule is Flexible, to Enable You.
You have the option to attend the fair at the time when it is most convenient to you. The fair officially begins at 9:00 a.m. If you have commitments right after church, you may wish to browse the fair prior to the Sunday School hour. The booths will remain open during Sunday School, as some communities may elect to attend as a group activity, mobilizing in solidarity with one another. The fair will close during worship, and reopen afterwards. It will remain open until 2:00 p.m. allowing attendees plenty of time to eat and browse.

5. There is nothing in this life quite as powerful as love, mobilized.
Here are my cards. I’ll show them to you. I believe in the Church of Jesus Christ.
I believe it is the presence of the Risen Christ in this world. As such, I believe that when we, as His body, are well-informed; when we are fully-equipped; when we are freely-empowered to mobilize in His name, our mission becomes nothing short of releasing Resurrection Power in the lives of people.

And that…is why we mobilize.
Will you join us?
