Celebrate America!

On June 25th, our Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra led us in Celebrate America!  It was a time to both celebrate our great nation and to worship our great Savior.  We remembered and honored those who have served or are currently serving in our armed forces. We are a free country because of the sacrifice these men and women have made.

We also honored the vast volunteer force in our country…those who serve, with no expectation of reward, in so many areas of our culture:  hospitals, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s sports leagues, taking care of the elderly, teaching Sunday School and being a greeter….so many people helping in so many ways.

While we celebrated the freedom we have in our nation, we also celebrated the freedom we have in Christ.  The freedom to be at peace in Jesus no matter what is going on around us.  Because of our trust in Him, we can say with the Psalmist: Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken! (Psalm 62:6)

Watch this video and be blessed! Share it with your friends and family.  It contains the message of freedom…in America…..but most importantly freedom in Jesus Christ!

Beautiful presentation of music, patriotism and praising our Lord. Thank you, The Choir, the orchestra, the quartet and the soldiers and flag bearers for all their hard work! We were truly blessed.
