Greetings, Johns Creek Baptist family!

Thanks to everyone who has prayerfully considered and submitted your Deacon nominations. We are now ready to come together as a congregation to elect 15 nominees to serve as Deacons at JCBC for a three-year term beginning in January 2026 and ending December 2028.

During the nomination process, you prayed, deliberated and submitted candidates the Holy Spirit placed on your heart.  It is now time for you to do that same thing, again, as we submit to you a group of 36 nominees from which you will vote to elect 15 people to serve.

You will find attached a deacon ballot form for your use. Names included on the ballot are those church members who have been nominated by church membership and are eligible according to our church bylaws. Each of these nominees also has indicated they would serve, if elected. Others indicated that they were unable to serve at this time and have asked that their name not be included on the ballot.

On the JCBC website, you will find a photo and a short bio for each of the candidates. That information is available by clicking on the “Deacon Election” banner in the “Upcoming Events” section of the home page.  While there, you may also cast your vote by using that link.  

Please consider and pray about the following as you cast your vote:

• Vote for those individuals you know to have a servant heart and are willing and dedicated to serving.
• You may vote for up to 15 individuals on the ballot (anywhere from 1 to 15). If there are other individuals who may be eligible (according to the Johns Creek Baptist Church bylaws), you may submit their name via a write-in vote on your ballot.
• Each person in your home who is a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church may submit a ballot.
• A ballot is enclosed, which can be printed and completed as needed by family members.
• Voting will end at 5pm on Friday, October 3, 2025. You may return physical ballots to the church by placing them in boxes located around the church — or by mail.  If you are mailing in your ballot, please be sure to get your completed ballot in the mail in time for receipt at the church by our October 3 deadline.
