Merry Christmas! Hope has been born, and today we gather to proclaim it!

Today, our church family will gather to celebrate the birth of our Lord in two very meaningful worship services (at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.) I hope you and your family will make it a point to join us as we marvel in the mystery of God’s love born among us. We will gather for a traditional “lessons and carols” service, which will include communion and a beautiful singing of Silent Night, by candlelight. In between the two services (at 4:00 p.m.) there will be a live nativity in our main foyer, provided by our children.

As you gather with friends and family this week, I want you to know that I thank God for you, and am praying that this Christmas will be meaningful for you in ways perhaps unpredicted.

May you, like the shepherds, be caught off guard by Grace.

May your ears be tuned to hear the echoes of mercy and whispers of love that come cooing in the unexpected places.

With great love,
Shaun King
