Prayer Request, Jean Bowen, 9/15/2026
Please be in prayer for Jean Bowen’s sister-in-law, Judy Bowman. Judy is having knee replacement surgery on Thursday, September 17th.
Prayer Request, Rhonda Byrd, 9/14/2026
Elmer Goble is out of surgery. Praise God! Once the surgery began, the doctor determined that he needed a quadruple, instead of a triple, bypass. The surgery was successful and Jacque will get to see him as soon as his recovery time is completed. Thank you for your prayers for a successful surgery. Prayer Request, Sarah Durham, 8/27/2026:
On Monday Carol Yockers had an extensive surgery procedure at Emory Johns Creek hospital. Her surgery was successful. At this time her discharge is unknown. For visitation her room number is 433. Your Prayers are so appreciated for complete healing and that further surgery will not be necessary. Carol is a faithful Sunday School Member of the Friendship Community.

My cousin Blanton is having cataract surgery on 9/1 and 9/15 and asked us to remember her in our prayers.
Praying for her and her medical team, for successful procedures and a speedy and pain free recovery.

Bettie West had shoulder replacement surgery today at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Bettie’s surgery went very well! She thought that she would have to stay overnight, but she is already home! She thanks everyone for their prayers, especially the Bowen Community. Please keep Bettie in your prayers as she continues recuperating. Joyce Tift Davis, a woman of remarkable warmth, grace, and quiet strength, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on August 11, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on November 1, 1940, in McRae, Georgia, she grew up in Tifton, where she became the sweet, kind, and hardworking Southern woman that everyone who knew her came to love.
