I love this time of year!
The leaves are changing colors and the air is growing cooler.

This time of year offers so many things for people and families to do together.
Apple picking.
Hayrides.
Corn mazes.
Football games.
Bonfires.
County Fairs.
And churches are offering fall festivals and trunk-or-treats all over our community.

On Sunday, we will have our annual Trunk or Treat here at JCBC from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. We will have trunks, fire trucks, hayrides, and more. The music will be playing, the sun will be shining, and the people will come.

But here is what will happen on Sunday.
Hundreds of people will gather together. Some of which we will know and others we won’t. Some of which this will be their first time to our church, and others who grew up in our church.

But look around. Don’t miss it!
People will be joining together for one common purpose…to have fun.
You will see families laughing together.
You will see little boys and girls proud to be wearing their favorite superhero or princess costume.
You will see grandparents holding the hands of little ones.
You will see grandparents chasing down their little ones.
You will see Sunday School communities coming together to create something magical.
You will see families whom you have never seen before, some of which, might just be checking out what this church thing is all about.
You will kids hording as much candy as possible.
You will see….But, you have to look. Don’t forget to look.

There is something amazing that happens when people come together. There is something beautiful when people come together.

I am grateful that we have, and are, creating a place where friends, families, neighbors, and the people of our community will simply be…together.

What an awesome day! I had my daughters and granddaughters join me for the trunk-or treat and They had a blast!
We are so grateful for the kindness of all the volunteers.
