Holy Week is a time of sincere reflection, hopeful anticipation, and joyous celebration. Make plans to join us for worship on Palm Sunday, then for Tenebrae: A Service of Shadows on Good Friday, and finally for worship on Easter Sunday morning. Please watch this personal invitation from Sr. Pastor Shaun King.
Sunday, April 10th @ 11am
Palm Sunday is the day we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem during the last week of his life on earth as recorded by all four gospels. Our children will be waving palm branches as we usher in Holy Week at Johns Creek Baptist Church.
Tenebrae / Good Friday
Friday, April 15th @ 7pm in the Sanctuary
As we come to the end of the Lenten season, join us as we reflect on the impact of Christ’s death and await the celebration of the coming Resurrection. Tenebrae, an evening of darkness and shadows, is a unique worship service that allows us to journey to the cross through song, scripture and quiet meditation.
*Childcare is available for babies through preschool by reservation only. Please contact email@example.com to make a reservation.
Sunday, April 17th @ 9am & 11am
The stone was rolled away, and Jesus defeated the grave. Resurrection! The hope of all humankind is celebrated on Easter Sunday morning – the highest of Holy days. Identical services will be held at 9:00 and 11:00 in the Sanctuary and will feature our choir and orchestra as well as a message of life and hope from Sr. Pastor Shaun King. Childcare provided for Birth through PreK.
