Do you feel the chill in the air?
The crispness of the wind as it whistles through the trees?
Can you see the bright little flurry as it swirls in the wind,
glistening in the sun?
No. Me either! The air is anything but crisp and the only chill in the air is blowing out of the air conditioner!
But what is in the air is excitement…as the Sanctuary Choir begins preparations for Christmas at Johns Creek 2016! This is the 19th annual presentation and the fun begins next Wednesday. Christmas Party 2016 is August 31 in the Heritage Room. Rehearsal will begin around 7:00, but come early for a lot of delicious food and warm fellowship! We will begin eating at 6:45.
Christmas at Johns Creek has become a Christmas tradition with folks coming from all around the area. There are fun, light-hearted songs,
costumes, danc….uh, choreography :),
Biblical drama, and
songs that tell the greatest story of Love and Grace that the world has even known.
If you’ve ever thought about being a part of this awesome experience, now is the time to come! Guests and new members are always welcome in the Sanctuary Choir. But now is the time to get in on the ground floor of the preparations…the beginning of the excitement.
Christmas at Johns Creek is certainly a highlight of our choir year,
but our primary purpose…
the bond that binds us together…
our reason for singing…
is to worship and to lead in worship each Sunday.
We would love for you to bring your passion for our Lord and His worship and join our Choir Family as we fellowship, sing, and worship on Wednesday evenings (7:00-8:30) and as we lead the larger congregation in worship each Sunday at 11:00.
Our theme is More than Music…We Are Family. We are a family within the family of JCBC. We love, pray, and encourage each other as we are on our Christian journey together.
Come be a part of our Choir Family…and join us as together we proclaim “Jesus Is Lord” every Sunday…and also at Christmas at Johns Creek. Now is the time.
