From Series: "Patriarchs and Matriarchs: Walking the Way of Faith " The heroes and heroines of our faith were certainly not heroic by contemporary standards.
They were not always beautiful and strong. The didn’t accomplish great feats. They didn’t leap tall buildings with a single bound.
They were broken, struggling, vulnerable, frightened and often rebellious.
Like us.
What made them heroic was not their accomplishments, but their faith.
Despite their doubts and fears, they walked courageously into the unknown because of their confidence in the love and providence of God.
Join us for a new sermon series entitled Patriarchs and Matriarchs: Walking the Way of Faith.
