School’s out! Summer has arrived (apparently May is the new July temperature wise) and Youth Ministry is poised for a great June and July. Wait you say, we DO NOT have a youth pastor, how can we be so poised, so confident?
The answer is that we have a gifted Youth Council leading our ministry and our staff is pitching in to make this Summer successful.
High points to remember:
- Sunday, June 2 – Summer Ministry and Camp Preview. During the Sunday School hour, we will highlight summer plans, especially our June 17-21 camp.
- Beginning May 29 we will offer Wednesday lunches at various spots with Pastor Annie and summer intern, Abby.
- Camp Wafloy is set for June 17-21.
- Day trip to Mercedes Benz Stadium for tour on June 25.
- Day trip to Six Flags on July 11
Sunday School will also be unique in June as Annie, Abby and I will rotate as master teachers.
We are already underway in the search process for our next Youth Pastor.
So, poised and confident we are, and we welcome your support and prayers over the coming weeks.
