Greetings Johns Creek Baptist family!

Thank you so much to all who have prayerfully considered and submitted your Deacon nominations.  We are now ready to come together as a congregation to elect 15 of those nominees to serve as Deacons at JCBC for a three-year term beginning in January 2027 and ending December 2029. We will also elect 2 additional nominees to fulfill expiring terms of current deacons who’ve had to resign.  Both of those terms have two years remaining and will end in December 2028.

Back in August, you prayed, discerned, and submitted the candidates the Holy Spirit placed on your heart.  It is now time for you to do that same thing, again, as we submit to you this group of nominees from which you will vote to elect 17 of those individuals to serve in the role of Deacon. If you scroll down a bit, you will find a short bio and picture for each of the candidates. We hope this will provide you with the ability to get to know those on the ballot a bit better than otherwise possible.

If you scroll past the bios, you will find a deacon ballot form.  Names included on the ballot are those church members who have been nominated by church membership and are eligible according to our church bylaws. As well, each of these nominees has indicated they would serve, if elected.  Others indicated that they were unable to serve at this time and have asked that their name not be included on the ballot.

Please consider and pray about the following as you cast your vote:

• Vote for those individuals you know to have a servant heart and are willing and dedicated to serving.
• You may vote for up to 17 individuals on the ballot (anywhere from 1 to 17).   If there are other individuals who may be eligible (according to the Johns Creek Baptist Church bylaws), you may submit their name via a write-in vote on your ballot.
• Each person in your home who is a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church may submit a ballot.
• A link to a printable ballot is at the bottom of this page, which can be printed and completed as needed by family members.
• Voting will end at 5pm on Friday, October 2, 2026.  If you decide to print your ballot, you may return physical ballots to the church by placing them in boxes located around the church – or by mail.  If you are mailing in your ballot, please be sure to get your completed ballot in the mail in time for receipt at the church by our October 2 deadline.
