A Pastoral Prayer

After such a week of suffering and anguish, Pastor King offered these words and prayer in worship on Sunday. In seeking the reconciliation and repair so desperately needed at this time in our nation, may we all continue to pray with humility, the prayer of the Psalmist…

“Search ME, O God, and know MY heart; test ME and know MY thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in ME, and lead me in the way everlasting.” -Psalm 139:23-24
