“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?”
He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
~Matthew 22:34-40
When asked a question about commandments; about how to order life rightly;
about how to live and what to do…
Jesus simplified it.
Love God. Love People.
That is the heartbeat of our Mobilization efforts at JCBC.
We mobilize to love God. We mobilize to love people.
And with the 2014 JCBC Mobilization Fair only 4 days away, there are numerous opportunities for you to do both.
For those of you who have completed the iMAGINEXT assessment tool, you will know that at the completion of that simple questionnaire is a page of all the various ways JCBC provides the opportunity to love God and/or love people.
In order to help connect you with the Mobilization opportunity you are seeking, a Table Guide (like the one below) will be provided. Take a moment to consider these current opportunities to Love God and Love People.
Mobilization Opportunities to Love God…
Mobilization Opportunities to Love People…
Please note: Many of the above tables have multiple opportunities to mobilize.
For example, at Table #7 (AKA, Welcome and Equip) a person can volunteer as a Hospitality Hub Host, Hospitality Ambassador, Planned Visit Host, Door Greeter, Pew Stuffer, Worship Host, Parking Lot Attendant, Sunday School Greeter…and more!
All of those opportunities are at ONE TABLE.
Of the 32 tables present on Sunday, there will be no less than 74 mobilization opportunities of one variety or another.
74 real ways for you to Love God and Love People.
Right now.
Know of my prayers for you this week, as we mobilize our love together!
