“Face Time with the Pastor(s)” begins TONIGHT!

Let me personally invite you to be a part of something special.
Tonight, at JCBC Midstream, we will host our very first Face Time with the Pastor(s).

What?
Face Time with the Pastor(s) is a creative, open-forum for theological inquiry and dialogue. It’s an opportunity to engage your pastors face-to-face, and ask them to reflect on some of the most pressing matters of faith and culture.

Why?
The reason we are hosting a forum such as Face Time, is very simple.
We are strongest and healthiest when we engage in deliberate dialogue about what matters most. Of all the kinds of Bible studies and sermons and teaching opportunities we provide, this KIND of environment is my favorite. When the conversation is unscripted and organic, there is a kind of discovery made possible in that moment, unlike any other.

How?
The pastors will welcome a variety of open-ended questions from the floor. Some sessions will follow a general theme. Others will be completely unscripted. On some occasions, there may be one pastor; on others, two or more. Members are encouraged to bring their Biblical and Theological curiosities with them.

When?
Most Face Time with the Pastors sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m. and are scheduled to follow the JCBC Monthly Business Meeting. (Business meetings begin at 6:00 p.m., and are almost always concluded well before the 6:30 hour.)

Where?
Tonight’s session of Face Time with the Pastors will be in the Gym. Feel free to freshen your beverage, grab a dessert, and join us for the discussion and the fun!
