On June 30th, our Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra led us in Celebrate America! A large and enthusiastic crowd joined in celebrating our great nation and worshiping our great Savior. We remembered and honored those who have served or are currently serving in our armed forces. We are a free country because of the sacrifice these men and women have made.
While we celebrated the freedom we have in our nation, we also celebrated the freedom we have in Christ. We sang of our beautiful nation and of the great faithfulness and love of our Savior. We thanked God for His provision for us, both here in America and later in heaven.
We were reminded that with great freedom comes great responsibility. Our duty…our obligation…our mandate is to be wise stewards of the gift of freedom. We need to be faithful citizens…praying citizens…voting citizens, acknowledging that God is always on His throne and is above all.
We are to be the kind of citizens that are described in Titus 3:1-2. Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all.
Watch this video and be blessed! Share it with your friends and family. It contains the message of freedom…in America…..but most importantly the message of Jesus Christ!

I sure missed singing Celebrate America with my Choir Family! Glenn, you handled the “Technology Failure” with poise and grace! I got a good laugh. I can’t wait to be back in Choir with all of you in August to begin working on Christmas at Johns Creek.!
