This past Sunday was abuzz with energy and joy.

I could not have been prouder of our Sanctuary Choir, as they (along with Sandi Patty and Veritas) filled the sanctuary with song, and lifted hearts with worship.

Under the direction of Worship Pastor, Glenn Crosthwait, our choir worked faithfully for months to learn the music, and to prepare themselves to lead worship alongside one of the most recognized (and iconic) names in Christian music. With strength of heart and voice they did so, and quite capably.

It never ceases to amaze me what great power comes from that loft every week. But I happen to know it is not by chance. It is through commitment and devotion, week in and week out.

That is what made Sunday night special.
Devotion.

Beyond what could be seen and heard, there were so many who were working tirelessly to make sure the evening was one of class. Numerous volunteers from the music ministry organized, planned and arranged the musical mechanics of sheet music, sound checks, chair arrangements, etc.

Throughout the building, our Operations staff worked hard to ensure the stage was set, and that our guest artists had all they needed by way of dressing rooms, food and accommodations.

Our Connections team, including JCBC greeters and Deacons provided a warm and inviting environment, serving as hosts and extending to every guest, excellence in hospitality.

I am especially proud of our ministry staff who worked hard for weeks ahead of time preparing some of the most minute details to make sure the evening was successful.

It is because of the tireless devotion of so many that we are able to provide ministry opportunities of such quality and class. I am grateful for all of you who had a role in such a joyful event on Sunday. Don’t let up. This is what sets you apart.

With gratitude and pride,

Shaun King

I wish that my heart could express the wonderment of Christ filling our church. Sandi Patty open that door with her voice. To God be the glory. I will forever have “Precious Memories “. Love my church.

We gave tickets to our son and daughter-in-law and baby sat with our grandkids so that they could go to the program. They both loved the program, and enjoyed the group Veritas as much as they did Sandi Patty. Sorry we missed it, but it was a great opportunity for them to do something special.
I’m sure that the program was an experience that will be long remembered by many.
