We look forward to hosting our friends from Presidio, Texas, June 14-19. We have been growing our relationship with the people of Presidio for 18 years. In recent years, students have been able to visit with us in the summer for a week of learning and fun. You are invited to support our efforts to be great hosts this year!
We have a variety of ways you can help us host these wonderful friends.
- Sponsor a kid for the week. The week will include trips to the aquarium, museum, water park, and maybe even a Braves game! Students will also be participating in a 1 1/2 day Junior Achievement program. Your sponsorship of $300 will help cover costs for the week. And any amount can be contributed to help.
- We will need host homes for the students and their adult chaperones. Serving as a home host may also include help with transportation in getting students back and forth to the church.
- Sponsor a meal for the group the night they arrive in town (June 14).
- Serve as a teacher/facilitator for the Junior Achievement learning experience.
- Chaperone a 1-day event with the Junior Achievement program.
- Chaperone one of the experiences (Aquarium, Museum, etc.).
- Do you have connections for an activity or event that would be great for our guests? We would love to hear of the possibility!
