Missions Offering 2026
When you give to the Missions Offering, you support numerous ways in which we share the transforming love of God in our community and throughout the world.
As gifts are received, the Missions Committee allocates funds throughout the year for a variety of requests. Much of our support goes to our existing missional partners such as The Place of Forsyth, Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries, and Backpacks of Love. The Committee also approves funding for mission trips to Presidio, TX, Puerto Rico, and Fitzgerald, GA (Together We Build).
The Missions Committee also receives one-time requests. In the past several months, the Committee has voted to fund hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina and Jamaica. They have also approved support for local projects such as building a wheelchair ramp and renovating a bathroom for a handicapped veteran.
By giving to the Missions Offering, you allow us to respond in a timely way to the needs of our community and beyond. And, in doing so, we continue to share the immense love of God. Thank you for your gifts!
