It all starts tonight.
Are you ready to take the plunge?

5:00p.m. – Food Lines open.
They will remain open until 6:30 p.m., enabling those who come later in the evening to enjoy a hot meal prior to later programming.

5:30 p.m. – The Student Ministry
(Grades 6-12) will meet in the Middle School Suite for recreation & fellowship, one hour prior to the beginning of their worship experience in the High School Suite.

6:00 p.m. – Several programs begin.

  • Children’s Choirs

o   weePraise 3 Year Olds – B 132 and 135
o   weePraise 4 Year Olds and Kindergartners – B 138 and 140
o   iPraise Grades 1 and 2 – B 141 and 146
o   iPraise Grades 3, 4, 5 – B 130-134

  • Midweek Bible Study with Dr. Michael McCullar. The current study, which begins August 27th in the Sanctuary, is entitled: “Islam and Today’s Messy World Order.” On September 3rd, this study will take place in the Heritage room.
  • Women’s Bible Study with Peg Stephenson. This study meets in room C263

6:30 p.m. – Dinner Line closes.
The Doing Life Seminars begin. This fall, seminars include…

  • Loving Ethiopia: A Mobilization Report by the King and Darwin families.
  • The Five Love Languages, led by Shaun and Laura King.
  • Facetime with the Pastor(s).
  • Parenting Well in a Technological Age, by Connie White
  • The Price of Privilege, by Jill Jenkins

Many of The Doing Life Seminars will be in the gym, around tables, and will end at 7:30 p.m.

6:45 p.m. – TeamKID begins, following children’s choirs. Designed for children in Grades 1-5, TeamKid is an interactive, hands on study of missions. Kids will not only learn about missions, but will DO missions together each week. TeamKID meets in the Children’s Ministry area on the Lower Level, and ends at 7:30 p.m.

7:00 p.m. – Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal begins. “More than music, we are family” is the motto of our choir, which meets in the choir suite each week for prayer, devotion and rehearsal. Open to all who are interested. Rehearsal ends at 8:30pm.

TONIGHT AT MIDSTREAM…

All adult programming will be at 6:30 p.m. for a special preview session entitled, “Foretaste.”

Foretaste is not only an opportunity to enjoy the first Wednesday meal by our new Food Service Coordinator (Juan Venegas), it is also a great way to check out the many life-giving studies and seminars available this fall.

At 6:30 p.m., each of the leaders of the upcoming studies and seminars for the fall will give a brief description of what will be studied. Tonight, Foretaste will take place in the Gym.
